The image of the Dragon has always held a special place in my work. Since childhood, I have been fascinated and captivated by the enormous, powerful creatures of fairy tales and legends. In this series, they appear to viewers as I have always seen them—intelligent and beautiful, the embodiment of magic, wonder, and the forces of nature. They have different appearances, destinies, and stories, which you can also read here. Dedicated to the Year of the Dragon, most of the paintings in the series were completed in 2023, with the exception of the very first work from 2021, which sparked the idea.
