Dragon nation

Whether they can be considered human is debatable, but once upon a time, they certainly were. Many centuries ago, their ancestors formed an alliance with majestic magical beings, separating their people's fate from that of the rest of humanity. Their proximity to the Dragons granted them strength and incredibly long lifespans, making them mages and spellcasters, but in return, it also forced them to become skilled warriors to protect new generations of magical creatures. After all, there are always those who wish to steal an egg or a young Dragon, raise it like a wild beast, harden its heart, and use it for their own selfish purposes. Since the warriors of the Dragon People have defended their nesting grounds, such cases can be counted on one hand. They craft the strongest armor from scales and proudly wear intricate ornaments made from shed antlers. They spend years honing their craft, and the mountain climate forges their character.
